ancient wisdom on how to live and the purpose of existence – info@acrystaltemple.space
seeing Ishoʕ
who was Ishoʕ?
before the figure known to the world as jesus became wrapped in deification – religious doctrine – creeds and empires – he was known in his own language as Ishoʕ – a teacher and mystic who spoke aramaic – the living language of the people of the ancient middle east
the sayings of Ishoʕ circulated orally in the near eastern wisdom tradition before later theological interpretations
the aramaic of Ishoʕ is not just a language – it is a way of perceiving reality its words are relational – poetic and experiential – unlike later translations that turned living ideas into rigid theology and doctrine
in aramaic meaning is not fixed words carry movement – relationship and consciousness
how meaning was changed
when the teachings of Ishoʕ were translated into greek and latin much of their original depth was lost
later religious institutions:
replaced inner transformation with belief systems
turned lived wisdom into commandments
framed mystical insight as obedience
what was once a path of direct experience became a system of control
yet the original aramaic still whispers beneath the surface
within the aramaic tradition surrounding Isho – the natural world is not separate from spirit –
plants and the living earth – which carry the deep wisdom of creation
